Terms of Service

These are the rules for using AwraAI. They are short on purpose.

What AwraAI is

AwraAI converts speech into text, in Amharic and English, on mobile and desktop, and can generate subtitle files for short videos. Free accounts include 10,000 words per week. We may change limits or add paid plans; if we do, we will say so clearly before it affects you.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older.
• Keep your password to yourself; the account is yours.
• One free quota per person — creating accounts to reset the free limit is not allowed, and does not work.

Fair use

• Only record people who agree to be recorded, where the law requires their agreement.
• Do not use AwraAI for anything illegal, or to harass or harm others.
• Do not attack, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.

Your content

Your recordings and transcripts are yours. We claim no ownership. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your voice or words to train AI models.

Accuracy

Speech recognition makes mistakes — names, noisy rooms, and mixed languages are hard. Check anything important before you send it. AwraAI is provided "as is", without warranties, and we are not liable for what a transcript gets wrong.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these rules; where reasonable, we will warn you first.
