Text
AwraAI turns your voice into clean, readable words in seconds.
Copy
Copy anywhere. On Android it inserts into the field for you; on iPhone use the AwraAI Keyboard.
Write Amharic the way you chat.
On Telegram and Instagram most Ethiopians type Amharic with English letters. Pick how AwraAI should write what you say:
- Amharic in Ge'ez script — ሰላም፣ እንዴት ነህ?
- Amharic in Latin letters, the way you chat — selam, endet neh?
- English and other languages, with optional grammar polish
- Switch any time in Settings — your choice sticks

Made to disappear into your day.
Floating mic on Android
A small bubble floats over any app. Record while you chat, then the text drops right where you were typing.
AwraAI Keyboard on iPhone
Dictate into any text field, in any app. Your music keeps playing while you speak.
Grammar AI
English polish lightly fixes grammar after you speak. Say it your way — it reads well. Over time, you hear the difference in your own English.

Why AwraAI exists.
Typing slows people down — especially between two languages. We built AwraAI so anyone in Ethiopia can speak naturally, in Amharic or English, and get clean text back. Less time typing. More confidence speaking.
Common questions.
Does AwraAI work in Amharic?
Yes. Amharic is a first-class language in AwraAI, not an afterthought. You can have your speech written in Ge'ez script (ሰላም) or in Latin letters the way most Ethiopians chat (selam), and you can switch between them at any time in Settings.
Can I type Amharic with English letters?
Yes. On Telegram and Instagram most Ethiopians write Amharic using English letters instead of switching keyboards. AwraAI's Amharic chat mode writes your speech back in exactly that style, so what you paste already looks like how you chat.
Which devices does AwraAI support?
AwraAI runs on iPhone and Android, and on the desktop for macOS, Windows and Ubuntu. Your phone and computer share one account and one history, so a capture you start on your phone is on your desk when you get there.
How do I paste the text into another app?
On Android a floating mic bubble sits over any app and drops the text straight into the field you were typing in. On iPhone the AwraAI Keyboard lets you dictate into any text field, in any app, while your music keeps playing.
Can AwraAI add captions to my videos?
Yes. Pick a clip up to two minutes and AwraAI times every word and returns a ready-to-use SRT file, in Amharic or English. You can preview the captions over your video before downloading the file.
Is AwraAI free to use?
AwraAI is free to start, with 10,000 words every week included.
Who built AwraAI?
AwraAI was founded by Abdulahi Redwan and is built by Noorify, an Ethiopian software company. It was made for the way Ethiopians actually speak and write — across Amharic and English.
